Winona Ryder is the face of Marc Jacobs’ new beauty campaign for 2016.
Sharing an image from the photo-shoot on Instagram, Jacobs paid tribute to his “dear friend (of over two and a half decades)” and revealed that the campaign was inspired by Last Year at Marienbad, one of Jacobs’ “all-time favourite films”.
There was a star-studded team behind the image, including the photographer David Sims and the stylist Katie Grand, with make-up by Diane Kendal and hair styling by Guido Palau. The make-up range, which features a new nude lipstick, an eyeliner crayon and the Velvet Noir mascara, will launch exclusively at Harrods in February next year.
