Taking inspiration from the collection’s ballet theme, Valentino’s fall-winter 2016 campaign turns models into dancers. Julia Nobis, Karen Elson, Jamie Bochert and Katlin Aas were photographed by Steven Meisel on location in New York. The quartet make graceful movements in designs including knitwear, long sweeping coats and tutu inspired skirts. Valentino’s fall advertisements include tilted staircases and spheres with male dancers at the women’s sides.
Sienna Miller stars in Lindex’s spring 2016 campaign
Lindex has announced British actress Sienna Miller as the face of its spring 2016 campaign. The star wears boho chic looks from the new collection reminiscent of her personal style. Wearing key pieces from the latest collection, Sienna poses in everything from suede mid-length skirts to breezy maxi dresses and puffed sleeve blouses.
About her favorite looks from the collection, Sienna says, “I love the delicate fabric of the white blouse; I can imagine living in it during summer. The flare jeans are fantastic; comfortable and the fit is great! Both pieces are real classics that are versatile and well made.”
Tommy Hilfiger set sail with his fall-winter 2016 collection presented during New York Fashion Week. The Park Avenue Armory was made over into the T.H. Atlantic with a lineup of early twentieth century inspired wares. A cast featuring top models including Hailey Baldwin, Sara Sampaio and new global brand ambassador Gigi Hadid, walked the runway in lightweight dresses, naval inspired coats and pajama dressing. The Tommy Hilfiger woman channeled her inner princess wearing baby doll dresses and glittering tiaras. Injections of 2016 can be seen with the addition of leather jackets, embellished bombers and metallic ankle boots.
