Rag & Bone designers David Neville and Marcus Wainwright sent out their woman in urban essentials for the label’s fall-winter 2016 outing presented during New York Fashion Week. The lineup of sporty separates included oversized parkas, slouchy trousers and motocross inspired graphics. There were plenty of standout looks—a bomber jacket with criss-cross pattern paired over a zippered dress or an all black look of a long vest, sheer blouse and track style pants worn by Fei Fei Sun prove that proportion is key for the autumn season.
Miranda Kerr looks glamorous in Gucci for the January 2016 cover of The Edit from Net-a-Porter. Posing for Yelena Yemchuk, the Aussie model wears ladylike looks from the resort collections in the photo session. Captured against a gritty backdrop, Miranda stuns in the designs of Gucci, Emilio Pucci, Christopher Kane and more styled by Tracy Taylor.
Some brands need little introduction, such is the case for NY-based, all-around cool fashion house Alexander Wang. Its catwalk show is one of the most exciting dates to ink into one’s Smythson diary for NYFW, and the label’s FROW namechecks like a who’s who of international It girls and artists. No wonder then that our consumer appetite hit must-have mode when we saw 17 December on our style calendar as the day Alexander Wang’s debut jewellery collection made its arrival.
With a steely, urban vibe that has become synonymous with the Wang aesthetic, the collection comprises four different pieces: two pairs of bike chain–look earrings in silver or rose-plated gold, then there’s the way-too-cool-for-school necklace complete with a 24k gold-plated lock closure and a matching cuff bracelet. With prices starting at £240, we’re investing quick before Rihanna buys the entire range.
